Embarassing social moments

anyone got any moments that are funny but make you cringe...

I went up to a couple on saturday night and said ' hi are you XXX couple '... after I said the name, I knew it was wrong...... 2 faces looked at me ... and said 'NO'..

not another word was said as I sloped away ....

Well, A guy approached Jo and said to her something along the lines of "Yuo look much better on cam, cant beleive you look older in person......"

had just arrived was walking up the stairs stone cold sobber tripped headlong up them !!

very nearly turned straight back down the stairs and out the dor lol !!

I have one.... I chatted online to a couple for while early in 2008, who then decided it wasnt for them and left the site. I continued chatting to the female on MSN but just as friends. In July i went to my first GB party at CJs, and just about midnight, after i'd showered and dressed to go home, i came out the bathroom only to come face to face with the female... so assuming that they'd said they werent playing because they just weren't interested in me in that way, i left with my tail between my legs without saying hi to avoid an awkward moment. It took me 3 weeks to pluck up the courage to ask online if they'd been at the party. When i met her for the first time in the pub a couple of days later, i knew from the moment i saw her it hadn't actually been her at the GB at all! So now i had the embarrassment of explaining what CJs party had been all about and what i'd been doing there

It still makes me cringe to think of it lol

Haha , hello Heather , it was nice to meet you ,you'll be pleased to know that I got the bar stuff to pour out the drink and I put the pound in with the rest of the raffle money lol xxx

We've met you before View so I'm hoping it wasn't! We were sitting behind janda1 in the next booth and someone came up and asked if we were such and such couple, I (Mrs EK) said "No", and paused thinking he was going to say something else and he didn't and walked away before I could attempt to say "but we're EK Couple!!" Please say that wasn't you View!!!

ffs just had on there put mine on here and sent it private ffs well mines was mr falling asleep and leaving me on my own our first social to lol . he then went to go to loo and caught him snogging a fem at the door leading to the toilet near the end of the night . i walked up slapped him and walked away so just want the fem to say who she is so i can say sorry incase when he got the slap his face hit hers xx

PMSL OPPPPPS wasnt me did get a snog from mr squirty but one was at table when mrs squrity was watching and other was for the £1 snogs lol

Well... we had met both Sweetcheeks and Kemea cpls at Fife social, and had chatted to one during the evening and the other cpl at breakfast next morning.

So was good to bump into Sweetcheeks again on Sat in Glasgow. Pip stood blethering to Mr Sweets and I to Mrs Sweets....as they were leaving we said goodnight and gave them a goodbye snog!

.....It was only when Mr Kemea came up n said hello, and hugged his lovely partner..that I twigged it was Mrs Kemea I was talking too! doh!

And as I looked across the other side of the table could see mrs Sweetcheeks sitting smiling

....I just wanted the floor to open up and swallow me!

BUT to be fair Pip and I think both couples are sexy as hell (& Mrs Kemea a great kisser!

) Pip says Mr Sweets not too shabby either! So apologies for getting mixed up....blame the alcohol...Next time we will need to try other way round! lol! (and I dont mean me kissing Mr Sweets!)

You sure that was an accident???

At the very same venue at a previous Social, we had just arrived and Trac got a tap on the shoulder. Her face was a picture as she realised the guy was the father of one of the kids she works with - he was the head barman. Lucky for us the troops all behaved that night and he kept giving her free booze (I never even got a glass of water, wonder why) xxxx

it was a bit of both he slept then woke up and the first person he kisses is someone he doesnt know so guess he got a slap for the both of them lol . its worse as we said nout like that was going to happen behind each others backs so hence the reason he got a slap didnt mind when im there maybe jelous as i behaved theres a few fems and males i would love to have snogged the face off lol but didnt as we had agreed lol xx saying that did get my tits out dont think he was to happy with that lol
