What is missing from Scottish clubs?

As Scotland has very limited clubs, and the clubs that we do have are listening to improvements suggestions; _
What is missing to make them better?
What do we like best from European and English clubs that Scottish clubs just don't have.
For us it's decent saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzis. More boudoir style playrooms

Unfortunately I’m not sure there is the volume of customers to stop the clubs from going a bit stale. We are not hardcore club visitors by any means but from the 10-15 times we have been to the clubs it tends to be a lot of the same people over and over. There is some new blood but I’d say 80% - 90% is the same people. We do enjoy the social but we are looking
For a bit verity and meeting all sorts of people but the last twice we have visited it definitely has been identical people. |

Tbh we found this in abfabs and Dundee as well, you'll see the same faces.
I think Scotland has enough people to make one decent club for sure, and CJ seems to be still the most popular one. We were disappointed the last time there and not sure if we would bother again
In the main time we just keep trying to go to clubs abroad! |

We find the Scottish clubs are too cold and lack style. I agree with the suggestion about more ‘boudoir’ style rooms/cosier atmosphere to help put people more at ease. Sorry - wouldn’t go anywhere near glory holes (so tacky, IMHO) Private changing cubicles would be a nice touch too. |

We were very surprised when turning up at CJs in our weekend comfy clothing that there were not changing rooms or lockers!

I don't think you're ever gonna get a one size fits all, chortle chortle, because people have such varied tastes, interests, kinks etc. We've been to clubs in Scotland, England and gran canaria and each one is good in its own way.

I have only been to to clubs in Scotland,cjs and Ecclesia I enjoy it when I go but I love the dress down aspect that you get in chameleons in the West Midlands and cupids in Manchester
Their facilities are great too lockers and jacuzzis great play rooms and a great vibe ,I only get to go now and again as a fair distance to travel but usually make a weekend of it ,next trip will be to Black magic at cupids and xtasia and chameleons in august |

Only been to CJs at nighttime last month, it was fine, but people clothed and wandering around downstairs and sort of felt like a normal club with music on sort of thing. Nothing really that ‘sexy’ but I guess it’s different on other nights
No experience of other clubs so, nothing to compare with. |

That’s been the same with us everytime we’ve went to cjs. Would be nice to have a dress down option for upstairs like most clubs in England.

Never been to a club in Scotland as I've just moved back home from England after 7yrs and their clubs are amazing xx I love a club that has a dungeon area and themed nights that cater for everyone xx. I would love to work at a club xx |

After going to Blackpool. I did really like the variety of themed rooms at club play but again that only appeals to certain people and it was hard to get a room. After dark is great for having rooms to play privately. There is nothing stopping you from stripping down in after dark on any night. I have done it a few times. Also like the fact that it’s very clean at after dark and bedding is changed etc. Maybe more open comfortable areas in AD sometimes having the padded area turned into a cosier place to lie and sit with pillows etc might encourage more large group/open play. I think every club just has different vibes and suits different people. More themed nights would help bring more people in aswell. |

the reason that clubs in scotland are a bit stale might be because they are still rated as illegal ( last time i looked ) and dont want to spend money when they could get closed down by some over zelous group at any time .
but sauna and steams would be nice |

We love themed rooms, few places in the Netherlands have really nice rooms. Jungle etc. Plus the beds have actual bedding  |

Our only club experience is afterdark and we’ve been three times now.
We’d love to see a ‘nightclub’ type room or themed night a with a good House/techno DJ and appropriate lighting.
Love to dance and is a good way for us to socialise without necessarily chatting and suss folks vibe. Maybe not to everyone’s taste but the pop music really doesn’t do it for us!
Spa areas would be great too. Hot tub/ steam room |

Investment. Scottish clubs are opened on the tightest budgets.
It's very hard to earn a living and invest in the club there after.
I suspect they don't make as much money as some would presume.  |

Yes so true, the Scottish clubs most likely make a loss, unless opened 7 days with good attendance it's a hard business.
People don't want to go because there are not enough facilities to accommodate their needs/ wishes and the venues don't have the money needed to spent to make the needed improvements.

This might upset some folk which isn't my intention but being realistic about it... think this is why parties in Abstrakt Studios or nice Air BnBs etc are becoming more popular. Especially among the younger and (not to sound mean) but fitter members. I've much preferred them to running the gauntlet at CJs and only tend to go on the bigger themed nights like Halloween now. An organised party of closer in age/attractiveness people - dressed down in sexy underwear/lingerie who actively intend to play will always beat wandering around a club fully clothed hunting for diamonds in the rough. |

Your not wrong. Attitudes change and venues need to be flexible and adapt to the changing client needs. Problem is capital. Sometimes its impossible to move forward |
