Well all I can say is that kunta kinky is pretty ignorant if she's parked in a disabled space if she's not got a blue badge.

Yes im serious. Looks from what youre saying you have a badge, she is able bodied (apparently) and she's away to buy a carry out. Why would she need to park in a disabled space as you said she left you in the car. That's not what having a blue badge is for.

So tell me what I should do, parking in the car park, if I needed the toilet? It takes me nearly 10 minutes to even get out the car.. what do you suggest? I stand there and piss myself so someone else can park??

John and I both have blue badges and the abuse we get from people because we 'look' able bodied is horrendous!

Only the other day he had a woman abuse him until he walked back to the car and showed her his badge! And even then she said well you look ok

If you think about it my post was defending the rights that blue badge holders have. The original post was light hearted stating the badge holder had been left in a parking space whilst the driver went in shopping, then went on to say she was away buying a carry out.

The addition later about what if I need to go to the toilet looked (to me) like trying to justify why the car had been parked so an able bodied driver could go shopping. It doesn't matter if the driver was shopping for the badge holder.

You can argue till you're blue in the face but blue badges are there for those holders when they are going to be leaving the car. Not so the driver can park nearer to the shop door.

The badge is issued to you as an individual, not a vehicle. You can display the badge on any vehicle (including taxis and hired cars) in which you are travelling as either a driver or a passenger.

Found that explanation in ten seconds in a quick search.

Read back and you will find I did not state that the person driving was buying alcohol. I merely agreed with another poster's comments and laughed.

I also never stated that I did NOT get out of the car.

Until you know me, my circumstances and health history then I suggest you wind your neck in and keep your comments to yourself until you can back them up with full details, Adolph!

I know _muma well enough to know the she is one of the rare blue badge holders who really needs one!! I also know that se would never take the piss with it and neither would the kountess. So I'm going to make a suggestion here, take _muma's advice and apologise politely as you have come very close to getting a forum ban for abuse of another member here

Giving your view on something someone has written on an open forum is not giving abuse.

People are allowed to comment on what has been written, it doesn't have to agree with other peoples.

As this thread seems to have stirred a lot of people up I am shutting it.
