never forget that day......spoke to my father at night on phone ...he said my god its a good job your mother was dead (she died in January of that year) because she loved kids that much that she could not have taken that news..... very telling in hindsight.. |

I was in hospital with my son at the time - for a minor in comparison thing, now looking at it - son was 6 weeks old - but my best friends daughter was in the school and when I seen it flashed up on the tv and then hearing from my friend that she didn't know and for me to keep her informed what the tv was saying put so much in prospective xx |

my oldest grandson is 22 theys were ages with him he was in primary one at school that year just like them wonder how their wee lives would have turned out.I know the feeling of loss my oldest grand daughter would have been 22 had she lived we lost her at 3 months old |
