I used to not be able to sleep years ago. So much that I’d be awake until about 4 or 5am.

I started taking kalms.

They’ll help

Yes only sleep about 3-4 hours, never get a full nights sleep. I think because I don’t work this is the issue don’t get tired.

Exactly the same. Except I can't remember the last time I actually had a full night sleep.

At least once a week I'm awake the full night. No wonder I'm always tired

There is really nothing worse and all you want is that deep sleep and to be knocked out haha

I eventually went to my GP as my sleep pattern was atrocious and I felt like I was living on fumes.

This was a waste of time as the best treatment they could offer was to direct me to a NHS website about mindfulness, which did nothing to improve my sleep (or lack of).

Now I rely on various over the counter sleep medications from the chemist and hope for the best.

A nurse friend once suggested that a hefty dose of piriton (non drowsy option obviously) before bed was a good option for the sleep deprived.

Yeah this for me too. Getting about 4 hours broken sleep per night. Save it up an like in at the weekends when I can.

A wank and a whisky might help?
