This "Was" the Dragonman here, when I was 15!! named after a bruce Lee poster on my youger bros wall! 
We used to go mobile with a car battery inside one of those Granny shopping trolleys (you know the tartan ones!) and the CB and antenna clamped onto the handle! OHHH the memories.

i was the Starship. cus ma CB was in my citreon cx 2400 which at the time looked a bit like it was alien!...it was great tho....sitting on a bit of high ground talking to strangers till 3-4 in morning!..then they legalised it and killed the whole darned thing!!! |

lol...yup......used to have one set up in my bedroom...had a license and everything
and no....not telling ya what my hamdle was...lol...was my nickname...and is the only name all my old friends still know me by.....most of them never knew my real name until day I got married...pmsl |

I used to use a CB - was Duracell (cos i had copper coloured hair) and latterly Barbarella (cos i was a fan of Duran Duran) used to use it in Grangemouth cos my cousin had a CB and i was there through my summer hols. |

yep been there done that and even still have cb`s somewhere
had everything from amstrads to harvards to cobra sidebanders etc, you name it i probably had one at one time or another
got my first one for my 8th birthday i think it was in 1981 and was hooked for donkeys years after
was a great piece of kit as all my family had them too so could talk all night on them,i used to especially love when the skip came in and you could talk to folks in other countries etc
as for my handle...........i aint telling

I loved going the CB,never got an "eyeball" lol-was that the name for a meet up.There was about 3 guys in my street with CB's and huge aerials on there roof and they used to "bleed" all my channels..i only had a magmount(no laughing at the back) my handle was Rumble Tum |
