Which side of the fence are you on?
Team ‘oven is set at 200° regardless of what’s put into it”
or
Team ‘I will operate the oven as per the food cooking directions’ |

I consider myself a cook so depends what I'm making/cooking, type of food, volume etc.. so mines is always varied so unsure if i fit into team 1 or team 2 |

Oh - as per instructions for temp, but cook a little longer as I don’t preheat it. |

My famous slow roasted lamb shoulder would be a bit shit if I cooked it for 4hrs at 200. And on the flip side my roast tatties would take too long at 200.
I don’t necessarily follow instructions but I do adjust depending on what I’m cooking. |

"Haha always 180 and don’t go by time just look and poke at it till I think it’s ready. Five star cook so I am lmao "
Almost thought you were talking about something else there, "just look and poke it till I think it's ready"! |

Like a few others I'm trying to get the hang of an air fryer so experimenting a bit. Got to say it is working well though, oven goes on for pizza (temp as instructions and check progress) and Christmas dinner but not much else. |

The talk about Air Fryers. I cook the conventional way but the air fryer is superb. I make bread, poached eggs, Thai soup, honey glazed root vegetables. No limit to what you can make with the air fryer. I’ve got a duel and love it

"I have a terrible oven so I just shove it on around 180/200 and shove things in and hope for the best "
In my experience just shoving it in and hoping for the best is never the best option, technique is paramount! x |
