Men, women and all the other genders gather, come gather round.

You have meet, it progresses to the boudoir for the wriggling activities to commence and you make your way to the cushioned platform. But behold, the bedding…..!!

What is considered acceptable bedding and what is considered pure bouffin?

For me, brushed cotton for the win,

Anything floral goes in the bin!

Greenock

Reasonably clean or fresh

I find it strange when men have flower prints, then again I love animals prints.

I have two wee sausage dogs and every Christmas I’m given atleast one of either, or both, a dachshund blanket or a dachshund themed bedding set.

Absolutely without fail. Overkill

Can't say I've ever got to the bedroom and thought about someone's bedding that strongly. They must have had decent bedding. Or maybe I was just enjoying myself that much I wasn't paying attention.

They bloody did but it was waaaaay back in 2014. Superhero bedding, I’d only just moved into my own flat that month after a breakup. So it was not planned that I pulled that evening

Can’t beat a bit of Egyptian cotton, but only really need a fitted sheet and pillows for wriggling activities

Oh, this is a good topic…. A clean but lived in duvet is important sign of character, as is the firmness of the mattress; brushed cotton sheets is a winner as you say.

Slightly excessive clean pillows and cushions can be endearing if I’m interested in the person for more than a ONS (which is pretty much always for me).

Weekly??!?

I tend to wait until it's too sodden to sleep comfortably then throw the sheets out.

This is why I prefer straw and newspaper. Much more economical.

If I was into someone I really wouldn't care about the bedding as long as it's clean.

Who gives a fuck if it's Egyptian cotton if he pulls back the duvet to reveal old spunk stains that would put the Turin shroud to shame.

Exactly. Crispier than a Ryvita and he's expecting to visit my meat canyon. I think not Casanova!

To be fair, I enjoy a bit of Egyptian cotton to sleep in. My comment wasn’t intended as a requirement or request of anyone, as I said a fitted sheet and pillows is all that is needed, preferably clean tho

Premierinnathome dot com chum, you can actually buy a bed and a mattress, it’s mental.

The only downside is….with the bed and mattress you can’t sneak them in and swap them round for new ones when you stay at a Premier Inn…absolutely not from experience but I have often wanted to just to feel like a law breaker

Life’s an education at times, but I need to forget ‘meat canyon’ in case I ever say it aloud

I find silly/cute/geeky bedding endearing. Currently, mine has woodland animals on it, and I have a Jurassic Park throw on there too. I feel bedding style is a bit of an odd thing to be so concerned about though, if it looks and smells clean then I'm good, unless for some reason the design was offensive.
