I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and it's every bit as good as an iPad but considerably cheaper.

I agree it depends what u want to do I swear by my iPad but there is things u can't do i.e.( flash player ) however there is ways round that , so i would suggest speak to the guys in shop let thm no what u want it for

If you want something that does everything an iPad does and more and is considerably cheaper just buy a decent laptop. It has everything except the "boast that I have one" feature lol

Nexus 7 is the dogz you can do so much more with it than the iPad and you won't be tied to apple

Deffo Nexus 7...blows ipads away.....an ipad is simply a big iphone and limited in use...Android is deffo the way forward

Played on a Nexus 7 at Christmas as my mum got one and I wouldn't even take one off your hands for half the rrp... It's so laggy in comparison to iPad! If you want a tablet in my opinion you're better just paying for an iPad. Lovely, smooth, rsponsive, good battery life. Android is way overrated imo as people want to hate Apple and go for the underdog. firstly Google is far from an underdog and secondly their Android OS is subpar.

My laptop is pretty much redundant since I got my iPad
