I do meet couples...
One problem I come up against is the rules they have in place!
Totally get no kissing as its intimate but so is sucking them off.
I've also had you can play with me but not husband... aye ok it's a performing puppet they were looking for...  |

Unicorn.
A common swinging term used in the community to refer to a single female interested in meeting other couples. Described as such due to the rarity of finding said females. By no means derogatory but quite the opposite, a rare treat.

I was recently told about a different type of unicorn in the lifestyle/ fab scene and it was quite interesting. Human behaviour geek hat on for a moment.
There are plenty bi women that meet couples, they just get an awful lot of emails. There are huge amounts of bi guys that meet couples too, would they be called a uniHorn..?
Is the real unicorn a single on the scene who is attractive both physically and mentally, emotionally intelligent, respectful, patient with the aura that causes you to want them long after they have left?
We have all encountered the rare people that are like this.

Can I ask, did you get the vibe that the no kissing rule was in place mainly from the male half?
I ask this as I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with couples in the past due to jealous husbands. Btw just to be clear, I’m not saying it’s me they were jealous of as that would be a ridiculous claim, it’s been the insecurities around sharing their partners etc.
This is why I’m now hesitant with couples but I am certain I’m not alone with these experiences. |

My last couple she made the rules for both of them ,was a bit strange cause I was like ,what about what I want ?@ im here for me too not just you ..that night ended early not to be repeated |

Agree with this - I've got a bit cynical about it of late, most approaches seem to be from couples looking for someone to fulfil a fantasy narrative rather than bringing an equal(ish) third into the mix. Preferences and boundaries are healthy, but when it starts going along the lines of "we'll let you join in with what we want, when we want and leave us to it otherwise" then I'm out. |

Hi fem half of couple here. Been reading thru replies. Sorry to hear some of u have had bad experiences with this.
We are fortunate enough to have found a very good friend of mine who joins us occassionally. Before we even began we both stated what we wanted from any meeting with another female. When we spoke with my friend there was lots of communication btwn us about what they would enjoy and like to get from experience. We respect their no's and after any meet we still communicate if there was anything they enjoyed more or didnt.
Male has utmost respect for her as i do as we were friends before any meeting took place and will continue friendship even if the dynamic stopped.
I would say good communication between all involved leads to the most amazing encounters.

Trawled through Urban Dictionary and found this, don't think many would agree with it fully though,
Synonym for hot bi babe or HBB, often derogatory, condescending, or ironic. A bisexual person, usually though not always female, who is willing to join an existing couple, often with the presumption that this person will date and become sexually involved with both members of that couple, and not demand anything or do anything which might cause problems or inconvenience to that couple. |

I've never really classed myself as a unicorn but I guess I fit the description - single bi female looking to meet couples, amongst others.

I'm putting my tuppence worth in too.
Single bi female that plays with couples yes but I think it's important to highlight that a true unicorn will play equally with both parties of the couple. Which is why we are rare.
There are too many "unicorns" that will if you pardon the pun pay lip service to the female and is more interested in the male.
The hardest part about being a unicorn (which is why I'm not actively advertising myself as one atm) is the hard work of trying not to upset one or the other...and the no kissing crap it's infuriating. |

Even more elusive than the female unicorn, given that MM couples tend to be gay. A bi MM couple is extremely rare. |
