Has anyone thought of having a cuddle buddy?
Someone just to hold you tight, let you talk through your annoyances with life, family, work.
Building a man on man connection isn’t always about sex. It can be fully clothed , in your underwear or naked. Sometimes men need that body contact and friendship.

Curious why if it’s not sexual it needs to be a man for you? I’ve previously had that sort of relationship with a wonderful gay male friend of mine. There was no sexual attraction between us and we could tell each other the lewdest dirtiest tales, and give help and advice as required. |

I have mentioned it to others from time to time and thry all say, yeah thats a geeat idea.
I just dont see people being willing to pay for hugs by the hour (though i would be worth it for sure) |

I’ve got a few wonderful platonic friends who are also ENM that I can speak with about anything. Sometimes play for me with a partner (mostly involving rope) is also physical and emotional but not sexual. I really value these friendships and experiences. |

In Germany we have something called cuddle therapists that actually do exactly that, cuddle with people for money. A lot of times those services get used by people with strong physical disabilities. |

I’d love to be a cuddle buddy as I enjoy body to body contact without necessarily having any sex involved.
If I was doing this I would also be caged if the person wanted naked contact, so there is absolutely no chance of any sexual activity taking place.
I’m up for doing this if anyone wanted. |

I could really do with a cuddle buddy today I’m telling you. Just want / need some close body contact tonight. Don’t know if it’s Christmas around the corner or the weather but ive always said I’m alone but not lonely. Tonight feels very very different. |

Good post and interesting takes above.
Human comfort, ie cuddles and sex too btw, releases oxytocin which is often called the love hormone (I’ve a good bit of writing on the kink place about this). Oxytocin is nullified by testosterone, so due to this emotional attachments form quicker for women than they do men (other genders are available) with the difference in testosterone within the system. Regular cuddle buddies with no possibility of anything progressing would, in theory, suit men more than women.

Nope for me this is something I'd have more with family and close friends- hugs and chatting life, family, work. Its not something I'd look for on fab. |
