We are looking for the groups "learned opinion" on nice bars for a few drinks on a Friday early evening (6pm til about 10pm ish) - Glasgow Town Centre or Southside.

And no sarcastic replies telling us to go to Lioyds - you know who you all are

So back to the original question , any tip on good City Centre or Southside Bars

As has been said on another post Th Pipers is nice we pub .

cant beat Ashton Lane in the west end on a nice summers evening

Suppose it depends on your taste !!!

All Bar One .... busy early on ..... no music

Browns ... nice bar .... but expensive

Merchant City .... plenty to choose from

merchant city for me has loads to choose from can flirt from one to another in seconds lol, im ther every fri n sat nite lol, werever you choose hav fun xxx penny,

If its the City Centre I would head for Merchant City not only nice pubs but plenty of nice places to eat too

Got to be Merchant City,its overtaken the west end and is now the plave of choice.
