I am rocking press on nails for a couple weeks now , with a little nail prep they stick on there for at least 2 weeks without popping off , but if u need them gone sooner u can soak your nails on a mix of warm water, acetone and soap and they will come off quite easy also much more affordable than acrylics , hope that helps

thank you so much for the reply. Ive wore the stick on ones from time to time. I think I just fancied the salon experience.

I always found getting acrylics to be rather harsh on my nails and kinda painful to be getting them tbh, it's always worth a try tho, but removal is much harder of course , there should be soak off ones u can have done there as well tho, those u can soak off with acetone as well

You can still go get the salon experience, a good manicure with a nice polish and gel pedicure - well worth it.

The gel polished toes - they take a good while to go

Most certainly - I do acrylics for my long breaks away, planning the full salon experience in the run up to Christmas - nails, toes, brows, fake bake and lashes.

No trout pout tho...

Totally agree with this. I can’t go false nails they annoy me and make certain tasks harder for me. I don’t find they come off easily despite what a few have said here I’ve soaked and soaked and it’s taken ages to get them off with the risk of pulling own nails off which is OUCH!!

Get your own natural nails manicures and painted then you only have to remove the Polish which is very easy. Don’t worry if nails fairly short I wear mine short and they still look good esp when painted which they usually are. I’ve quite the stash of nail colours now as I just do my own.

Thank you. I think that's the route I will have to go down

I've got builder Gel or biab. I can't have long nails at work.

It's just like French manicured nails.

Can't have long nails or can't have acrylic/painted nails at work?

I got new acrylics done today, they're not long. You don't have to get super long stabby nails if you don't want to. Xx

I think people think of acrylic nails and think of talons, but if anyone has ever saw my nails, you'll know I don't have them particularly long. I can't handle nails pinging off when you go to button your jeans, or open a can, so I haven't done press on nails for years; but I can thoroughly recommend the salon experience for a shorter, maintained look. I only get an acrylic overlay because my nails are super weak, and break when they reach a decent length!! Everything under the acrylic overlay is my own natural nail, there's no false tips or anything. I think it's worth speaking to a nail tech to see what options are available to you, and what suits your needs best xx
