On Easter Sunday- 31st March 2013, Scotlands' motorcyclists will converge on Glasgows' Royal Hospital for Sick Children, commonly known as "Yorkhill" to deliver cash donations, toys and the odd chocolate egg or two.
After the imposed pre-registration attracted a much expected backlash, the Police and Glasgow City Council have agreed to drop this condition.
The route for 2013 will start and finish at Yorkhill as it did last "YEER" and takes in the traditional spectacular ride-out along Great Western Road.
The YEER website has info on sponsorship and fundraising. |

I have been lucky enough (well not lucky to have a sick kid) to experience the generosity of the Easter Egg run to Yorkhill, Robin House and Crosshouse hospital and both my kids loved seeing the bikes and getting sweeties and toys from all you lovely bikers. My little lady even melted the heart of one big burly biker when he found out her story. So although I don't ride I am happy to sponsor you if you do the run, just let me know the details
