Have you ever looked at a profile and then messaged them and after some chat they send you a face pic and you then recognise them?.....what do you do? After all we're here for fun, so I would continue to chat but some block , is that from embarrassment?  |

It's happened with a childhood friend and folk from work. I block as I have no interest in those people having access to nude photos of me / vice versa. I wouldn't waste their time by continuing talking when I'd never meet them.

Once messaged a older lady 20 years ny senior. Found out it was a lady in my department at work. Initial embarrassment was gone after the first time I was naked in her living room. |

Edinburgh is a small city and the swinging population there is even smaller lol
Most awkward one was a message from a guy i vaguely recognised. Took me a while to place him - then I realised it was because I knew his wife. And she had no idea he was on fab 
I just blocked him and kept my mouth shut. |

Yeah it's happend. Have blocked but not through embarrassment. Depends really on the situation of knowing the person. As others have said were all here for the same thing mostly. |

Yep. Messaged to and fro on and off fab. Meet arranged and swapped pics. You’re ************ . Turns out I’d met them in my role as a professional. We hummed and hawed but decided it was actually quite a turn on and now have a great friendship and mind blowing sex. |

I think it's inevitable we'll all come across someone we know at some point. I've only ever blocked one person I've known (and there have been several). He stays through the wall from me, and while he's a nice enough guy I don't Wang him knowing I'm on here x |

Not sure if I've met people I know, like most single guys I've got six accounts, some pretending to be a woman or couple, and every time one gets banned I create another! (Warning to Sydney University - this was a joke and entirely humour based, any attempt to prove otherwise will make me cry!) |

I came across a new profile full of face pics, was a girl I knew, messaged discreetly saying we knew each other and that there’s more people on here than you’d think and just to be careful with her face pics unless she didn’t mind, she didn’t think we knew each other so sent her a face pic and she got quite a shock |

We almost exchanged face pics from a guy at one of our workplaces. He sent his face pic first to our shock. We said he wasn’t what we were looking for and blocked. Quite a scare.

I saw a status update mentioning a pub. I was in a coffeeshop, and 5 minutes later a friend left the place.
I blocked him, not out of badness but to save either of us the embarrassment. I did know he was on here but not his name. |

It’s happened to me lots, some people have told me they know me, then blocked and not disclosed themselves. I think that’s poor. Either block and move on or share who you are.

Absolutely.. I had been chatting to a guy on here , as the chat progressed he identified himself by sending his face pick.. it was a guy who lives up the road and who drinks in the same bar .. he doesn’t know who I am . I have tried to strike up a few conversations . Lol.
Another guy who I’d been chatting to invited me to his home .. he was a co worker .. |

A couple of times I have recognised people but I always make sure I give them full discretion. It's no one else's business if someone is on fab so I respect everyone's privacy.
I wouldn't block someone just because I know them and it wouldn't stop me meeting them either. I'd just make sure I'd keep my mouth shut about fab to others.
I did have a woman message me saying she knew me and wanted to meet up but couldn't as she sees me regularly. She blocked me before I could reply to the message so have always bee intrigued to who it could be |

BUT, did have a local lady basically tell me my name and address in a PM and I still have absolutely no clue who it was. They never let on they knew me prior to that. Freaked me out tbh. |

Have had a meeting with a colleague from work.
Despite multiple messages about the scenario he wanted we'd never actually exchanged face pics.
He turned up, there was a mutual "oh it's you" a brief exchange of do we want to do this, agreement quickly reached and down to business |

I’ve seen a couple I know from next town,I’m so tempted to message them as they are both so hot….even just to see what the response would be.Didn’t for a minute think they were so into it pegging etc,the pics are a huge turn on as I know them…no way I would have thought he was bi. |

I have the most locked down profile I can and I’m a lurker - I’ve never met anyone from fabs and this is my first profile post, for example.
But even without pictures and two words on my profile I get swamped with messages - and every few days, from a guy I used to work with whose wife and family I know. He uses at least 6 or 7 different profiles and always finds me. I sort of can’t believe he attaches his face to every cold call message because surely that’s asking for someone to recognise him and not everyone will be discrete.
Don’t know if I’m wrong but that sorta gives me the ick. |

Aberdeen/shire is not a big place. If recognised and spoken to people I both know from school/work and other connections I.e friends wife

This topic raises its head a lot as I think some people fantasise about it but in reality there’s about 3 potential outcomes of it happening:
1: you recognise someone and shite it.
2: you recognise someone and avoid them like the fucking plague or,
3: you see that hot person you had always wished to see here….and in return they use number 2 towards you. |

This is precisely why I don't have public face pictures and won't send them to anybody until we have established locations and likelihood of knowing each other. I've had a girl come up to me in the pub in front of my mates and announce she knew me from here.. that kinda of embarrassment is not why I'm here. I suspect a few people I know are on here with false locations, their tattoos are a give away .. but I've no interest in them so why would I go creating problems .. |

Two messages freaked us out.
One saying they lived down the street from us and loved the boots Mrs was wearing walking home from the train station. We screenshotted that one and told him to jog on. Best part was Mrs drove that day.
Second one someone asked us if we lived in XX road as he recognised the wardrobe doors the developer had fitted. Again, a bit creepy.
Mr has spotted some old school folk from profiles as well as a couple who he used to deliver newspapers to. |

Few years ago I had some fun with a couple at theirs late one evening.
A few weeks later, I'm in IKEA with my sister and niece, I see the female half of the couple try to say hello and got a dirty scowl
Few minutes later and the female approached my sister " do you know your man is on a swingers site, having fun with other people"
My sister was shocked, to say the least. But she explained we weren't a couple...
Fem then tried to apologise to me, but it was a step too far and I told her to save it....

Seen a status update tonight of someone threatening to call out someone they know because they are apparently in a relationship.
I think this is bad news and people should really stay out of peoples personal lives. This is why I like to keep my pics and veris etc private until I think I can trust someone. I don’t have anything to hide but i wouldn’t want someone advertising to everyone I was on here  |
