I av recently noticed that my gas consumption /unit charge has went down in price but as it is now winter and the water that comes through from outside into my gas boiler is now going to be colder than in summer it takes longer to fill my bath to the depth i like so could this be why ( not using CH my gas is getting dearer per day .  |

It definitely does, you will notice you need to turn the dial on the shower slowly but surely further round into the red as we move into Winter. Uses far more energy to heat the water up when the water drops in temp. |
