Received this email on a theatre forum I`m on and thought it might interest some of you Fabbers!!!

Learn the basics of burlesque in this weekend workshop, brought to you by one of Scotland's top showgirls.

Whether you're looking to regain confidence, explore your inner diva or add to your performance repertoire this class exploring the art form of burlesque is the perfect way to do it. The weekend course covers the basics and history of burlesque, working with costume and posing through to learning a routine and adding your own twist onto it. With an accent on charm, charisma and character, this workshop is guaranteed to give you a boost for the week to come!

Suitable for women of all ages and sizes, this is for over 18s and ladies only.

Cost: £75 if booked before end of Feb, £90 after.

Limited spaces so booking in advance is essential.

Sat 9th & Sun 10th March

11-6pm both days (attendance both days is necessary)

The Teacher: Wild Card Kitty is an award-winning artiste and has performed burlesque for 7+ years across the UK, in Europe and the USA. She has trained with some of the top names in burlesque (Michelle L'amour, Wild Cherry, World Famous *BOB* and the late Tura Satana). Additionally she has trained extensively in movement and has a Diploma in Physical Theatre Practice and a Masters and Degree in Fine Art. She is fully insured and runs her own Theatre Making practice called The Kitten has Claws in Scotland.

good for you wee man glad to see your keeping theatre alive ,,,i had a busy weekend and yet another charity auction and another sunshine coach going on the road ,,god they are so heavy to push till you put fuel in them ,lol cheers m8 see you at the glasgow lunch looking fwd to catching up again
