Back in the 80s, Wednesday night at Jackie Os was referred to as ‘grab a granny’ night. Not that I ever went.
We’ve had a few Wednesday nights in the new bar on Kirkcaldy high street where there were quite a few cougars. We did eavesdrop on a conversation and K did speak to some in the Ladies, they were definitely out to pick up younger guys.
Kirkcaldy high street has went downhill but it’s good to know that some traditions are ongoing.

Only went a few times to Jackie'OS on the Wednesday nights felt ancient at 25. Most seemed to be in their teens lol. Preferred the Thursday or Saturday nights. Never out in Kirkcaldy now. |
