That feeling when u give your phone to a vanilla friend and realise fab is still open!
Fortunately they didn't open the fab tab! This got me thinking.... What are peoples best options to protect your privacy? I have measures in place now but keen to canvas others input. Cheers |

Incognito user here. Though sometimes I forget and it'll come up in the address bar. Not that I'd have anyone check my phone. It just avoids any awkward questions if it comes up with shoulder hoverers if I'm out. |

Thanks for the suggestions! I've gone way over the top with VPN, secure folder and passwords. Still I must remember to lock it down or not give the phone over. Cheers |

I’ve never had the fear of someone clicking on the browser, but holy fuck I’ve often had my heart in my mouth when people have began swiping through my photos
It’s one I’m sure we have all had at somepoint |

I use Google Chrome for general browsing.
I use Vivaldi™ browser for Fab and nothing else, primarily because Fab is a power-intensive site because of notifications, location services, background running etc... Vivaldi requires comparatively less battery power than Chrome.
I've set my screen timeout to 30 seconds but then again no one has access to my phone anyway. |

There are many ways to protect your privacy with technology- anyone who doesn't know can even find out with a simple web search! Anyone who hands over without protection subliminally wants to get caught- the thrill of asking a beautifull lady to not scroll left or right is just a test to see if they are naughty or not! Can lead to some "interesting" conversations! X |

"Caught out once, luckily it was a very close friend. Now any pics I take are either deleted immediately after uploading or saved to email
Just the once? "
Yes, I’m a fast learner |

In the west. |
I had an incident in a pub one night with my mate. We were both d*unk, me more so than him, and I left my phone open on the bar. Since that day it only comes out my pocket when I'm using it and if it doesn't automatically lock I press the button when I'm finished. |

"I sometimes use fab on public transport and I'm pretty sure people sitting beside or behind me have had a look at my phone
"
Need to be careful with that though chum, if you click on an ‘indecent image’ whilst in public you can be done with a form of public indecency.
Don’t mean to be a sourpuss, I also check mine when out but I try to be really careful (as I’m sure we all do) |

You can put the images off. I usually do this out and about. |

Privacy filters are good as they will generally prevent people sitting next to you viewing your screen. If someone is directly behind /looking over your shoulder the screen is still visible |
