It’s a nice bar with a nice view. But it’s in a hotel, well away from any main streets. So don’t sit there expecting any of the random interactions and pulling opportunities you’d get in a regular pub/bar. Go wandering into nearby Finnieston (or take a taxi/train into the city centre) and have a pub crawl if that’s what you’re after. |

If something is on at the Hydro there might be a better crowd - but agree, it’s not really near anything else.
10 minutes walk away is Vega (next to Glasgow central station) and there will definitely be a good crowd in there - like the sky bar but not technically outside hahaha |
