Staying in Glasgow hotel for a couple of nights and thinking of going to After Dark with my girlfriend tomorrow. We have been to a few clubs before but still class ourselves as newbies. Is it usually quiet on a Wednesday? if anyone else will be going or has any pointers on what its like there?

Save yer money and go round Edinburgh instead wasn't that impressed with it last Saturday considering a social was before it, 4 to 1 ratio men v women, most women were part of a couple, the others were just chilling in the social room, nothing much happening, a few getting flogged, seen 2 sex shows, I went in about 11ish, was out by 1am dissapointed, not because I didn't get anything just with the lack of anything going on, all seem to playing pool etc |

Totally agree with this. It’s a lifestyle not a free fuck feast and people will play if they feel comfortable. I love AD and have always had a good night. |

Like i previously said...nothing against AD and not got sour grapes because I got nothing and at what point did i say i was expecting a brothel ffs, I just expected it to be busier especially with a social beforeh and a bit more going on, 3 main clubs in Scotland, the Dundee one wasn't very busy either as I been informed, so was everyone at CJ's ?? I counted about 35 people with most of them in social or smoking room, nothing against AD I'm sure they do a great job I'm not knocking them  |

..so I presume you'll be leaving this shit site , then,as far as afterdark goes I can only say been 6/7 times , couple quiet nights most busy though and went with no expectations of anything happening but if it did was a bonus , great mix of people and yeah folk play pool which I found was a great icebreaker if there on your own .....have been twice at pre club socials and defo more than 35 folk ...more like 100 at peak time in my opinion ...

It was a bank holiday weekend im guessing thats why it was quiet. Its not a sex club.its a place for like minded people to socialise and be themselfs. Sex doesnt always happen |

It can be hard to walk up to a "couple" or group and chat .i wouldnt do it unless i knew them. U chatted to me 1st .so i felt comfy randomly chatting every time i saw u |
