Cant wait to see if there are any racehorse breeders/owners with a sense of humour and brave enough to name their horse T'Bone.
Wonder if we'll ever see SirLoin cross the line just ahead of Beef Lasagne
....ok maybe not |

The thing is, we ve been eating horsemeat for decades. One of the industrys best kept secrets.
What pisses me off is the fact we've been paying a premium for meat thats virtually worthless compared to real beef.
Manufacturers have ripped us off BIG TIME. Fraud on a huge scale |

Its not all manufacturers and it looks like only retail.
Some one in a distant country has made a huge profit and now the food standards authority is clamping down on UK businesses whose HACCP is extensive.
Of 1929 foods tested last week only 29 showed equine dna and the limit was 1%.
Yes its a worry but not due to greed of the manufacturers but a few unscrupulous traders.
Don't lose confidence.

"Looks like Anne Windsor is advocating eating horse meat."
Was surprised at that, after all when you look at her its obvious someone in that family shagged a horse |
