Surest place you've burnt

My legs. Went kayaking in the Balearics and stupidly didn't put any cream on them. My thinking was "meh, they never tan like the rest of me. Maybe this way they won't look like milk bottles". OMG agony! Woke up from a siesta and couldn't stand!

Early 90’s on my first foreign holidays I always got burnt.
Just arrived in Cyprus and said let’s go for a walk along the beach mid day. Being smart I said I’m wearing a t-shirt as I don’t want to burn.
Got back after a few hours and took the t-shirt off and I was red raw 
Turns out the t-shirt material was so thin that I got burnt through the shirt  . Who knew 
This was within 4 hours of arriving in Ayia Napa. Needless to say I spent a few days with another t-shirt on and in the shade. |

When I was a holiday rep I was given the nickname Perv on the 1st day and on the 3rd day got my mate to write Perv across my back with a total block suncream stick. Proceeded to get severely burnt and it was there in bright white writing for 6 months. |

Corfu mid 90's first holiday abroad temp about 38/39 everyday not good for a fair head, red raw at night after being out on pedlo all afternoon drinking, everyone called me lobster for a fortnight lol |

I was a pissed up squaddie in Kenya at the sportsman's bar I think it was called. We hadn't even been there long and I wanted to bronze off, so I put baby oil on, consumed enough beer to put me to sleep and cook in the sun.
The end result was my chest and shoulders looking like a gremlin that's got wet! Still faintly got the scars 11 years later |

In my younger days backs if my thighs were always the worst for burning cant explain it! The wheel of time has allowed my hair to revise a nautural barrier, except after a hairy leg charity waxing…. |

When I was a wean the soles of my feet burnt and blistered from the heat of the sand. I don't remember how painful it was, but I can't think of a better example x |

Came off a rig in Ivory Coast. Seen the flight crew girls at the pool shot down but forgot to put cream on my legs. Was out for half an hour tops.
Worst sunburn by far should’ve really went to the hospital it was that bad.
What an idiot!

Beside from the enviable burning, does anyone else of a certain age worry Jaws will get them while in the sea abroad. Scared so many 
And worse sun burn to knees and feet while para in rubber ring. |
