Tonight we got a message from a couple to which we sent a polite reply telling them we were up to our eyes in other things right now so were putting new meets on hold for a short time.

The reply we got was unbelievably cheeky and basically called us timewasters for daring to have a life away from here and not announcing it on our profile, then we got blocked so couldn't even send them a reply.

Have any of you been giving a hard time for having the bare faced cheek of being a bit busy and not telling everyone?

Also do you think it's right for other couples to have a strop when you send them a polite reply?

You may notice I'm not too happy about this couple.

Half a dozen eggs, 6 rolls and pkt. Oh smoked bacon, geeeez no much change fae a fiver!!

Ohhhhhh, sorry wrong kind oh messages , just ignore them and block them back, they are not worth bothering about if thats the way they feel

Ohh yoy get them, lol, i sent a message into that catch22 that is, "no single males but love partys" so dafty sent info on partys, all very polite, "i appreciate you dont like idea of solo males but we do hold partys often, might you both like to", well jesus the reply was like from Kelly osbourne on Bo selecta, lol.

"Why dont you f,,,ing f,,, off because you f,,,ing cant read you f,,,ing tit", (have shortened it) ,lol.

Took it as a "no thanks",lol

Had some corkers of nasty and rude messages the other weekendd and a cpl this week too..... some folks either don`t read profiles right or get a lil touchy when u chat to folks they like in the room n stuff.....

guess some folks don`t wanna play the way it`s meant n stuff...

but well am still here.. but admittedly it was close,very close to me wiping it.. hopefully the good will outweigh the bad..

My best one was just recently got a mail saying 'why you so angry?' replied 'excuse me' the mail i got back was :-

I think It just comes down to people not knowing how to behave in a 'virtual' or 'online' arena.

Most people wouldn't behave like this in the street or a club. THey just think cos its online and faceless they can get away with anything

It's their loss, not yours... a lucky escape really, they obviously not worth meeting anyway with that attitude!

we got a message the other week askn to meet but the cpl where 15yrs older than us..now it does say in our profile we have an age limit

sorry you got some hassle landj....but i've been using this kinda site for some years now both as a single guy and as a cpl ....

at the end of the day its no real diffrent as if you were in a pub if ppl are nice you will be nice back if ppl are nasty you will be nasty back

i've never met you but you sound a lovely cpl and sort of ppl this site needs..as for the ass holes well you dont give then a 2nd thought an laugh at them as you would an asshole in a pub ..to put it simply they just aint worth it ....

as my profile says, i don't have to meet everyone who emails me to be genuine.....

that was a bit of a lame excuse,being busy on the run up to christmas.whos going to believe that.

yous are never going to meet them.so i wouldnt let being blocked worry yous to much.if you stopped doing everything because of a*******S you woudnt get out of bed in the morning.i would say they have a problem,not yous.so swing on

Hi I'm to new to the scene, I've been helped by a few people who know I'm genuine, as we met at a party and they told me about this site. I'm planning on putting up some photos soon. I've been nice, polite and respectful to people requesting friends and leaving polite messages. I recieved some horrible and vicious replys. I thought we were all here for the same thing to have fun and get to know people who have the same interests, and maybe meet up and enjoy ourselves. I understand as a single male I'm limited to who I can contact. All I ask for is a polite " no sorry I'm not interested" how hard is that. Manners is allowed even in emails. Sorry for going on but rude people are putting me off staying here and getting into the scene altogether

I'm afraid not everyone has time to reply to every single email they receive so the best thing to do is if someone doesn't reply then take it as thanks but no thanks. Some couples and single females get literally hundreds of emails A DAY! I would bet that more than half of them are deleted without being read.

Welcome to the site tho, get into the chatroom and talk to folk, put your name down for socials and have fun

had a fella have a pop at me the other day in the chat room , he had messaged and had not got a reply , our profile clearly states if kate is interested she will get in touch , if not the chances are she aint . I don't get that coming from the single male point of view, you get a lot less reply's but I'd never pester anyone.

The worst is when you delete your sent items thanks to the new setup and then you don't know if they have read the message or deleted it, so now you don't know what to think if there's no reply lol.

Why anyone would start going mad because something came up is just crazy, everyone has a life of their own.

We dont meet very often for different reasons and if people cant get their head round it and go in the huff, hey! their loss not ours
