I thought it might be an idea to start a thread for those of us interested in rock and metal in Scotland, and possibly lend my expertise too, across three areas.
1) I run an online record shop, and would be happy to offer members of Fab a discount - please message me if you are looking for vinyl or memorabilia!
2) I have worked in the industry for many years and in a number of different roles, including management and festival booking. If any Fabbers would like help or advise with their own bands, please let me know!
3) Gig buddies! I know a lot of folk will be going to gigs both big and small, so it would be nice to have the chance to maybe share a pint or chat before or after a gig, or find someone to attend with.
If I can help with either of the first two then please send me a message direct, and if you are attending a gig and happy to meet people, then just add the date, venue and band to the thread and let’s see if we can get some social interaction going! |

There’s a local group on Facebook called Polestar Records - well worth checking out for deals and hard to find albums. |
