"What bands are you planning to go and see?
I've got an eclectic mix
Trivium
Electric Callboy
John Mayer

Taylor Swift"
What sacrificial offering did you make to get your hands on Taylor Swift tix??
I have failed in the first rounds but won't give up hope on last minute, don't need to sell a kidney, options until mid-June '24! |

Trivium + Bleed From Within in a couple of weeks
Fear Factory in October (need to get a ticket for this one)
Malevolence + Sylosis in Nov
Lorna Shore in early Dec
If I can get an Electric Callboy ticket, then that's a must also (appears to be sold out at the mo), as they were absolutely amazing at Download and I want to see them again
Same for Skindred (seen a few times, but always amazing) |

You guys are prolific. If I was nearer town I’d pop along to many of those gigs.
As it stands, old school
Extreme/Living Color. (Birthday treat from a very thoughtful woman
Foo Fighters next year. Whoop
James Acaster last week which was a hoot. Is that a gig? Think so. |

Be glad you don't live in Dundee, then!
The Trivium one is Edinburgh and all the others are Glasgow, so they're all an expensive train (assuming there even is one at a suitable time) or no drinking and I drive.
If you struggle to make it from Glasgow to Glasgow... |

Gigs left for the rest of the year:
Hellripper, Monster Magnet, Orange Goblin, God Speed you Black Emperor, Party Cannon, and Baroness.
Throw in desertfest as well, it's going to be busy!
Pantera, Airbourne, and Opeth so far booked for next year... |
