Just putting out feelers out to see who would be interested in a regular social night in edinburgh, (no play) BUT exclusive access for people with the lifestyle xxx if this is something you would be interested in please let us know xxx

We were thinking of a bar or nightclub hired just for us… just for people in the lifestyle, no muggles invited lol |

I think a fair few folk have expressed in something like this across other threads (myself included) so while I understand gauging interest realistically it's unlikely there'll be a good idea of who'll actually make an effort to come until there's some idea about:
- Cost / Pricing
- Location / Venue
- Format
- Attendee Balancing / Vetting
These tend to be the sorts of things that put folk of existing or proposed / new events (again, myself included). |

Sorry Jesster and believe me I am definitely not a fan of his style of just ignore genuine questions or to misrepresent lavishly what the truth actually is but your first question was answered on how would it differ from monthly socials Edinburgh already has.
For clarity here it is as stated by him... it would be in a nightclub or bar not in a swingers club and it will be hosted by him and not the 2 lovely genuine upfront honest ladies you have doing your current monthly socials.
Your 2nd question, I don't really get... a regular nightclub is also an already open nightclub so it's both. |

Me and NSV do the pre drinks socials in Glasgow but we have a free venue that serves our purpose. Sometimes keeping it simple works best.
I know there used to be a regular monthly munch in the Counting House for Fet. Socials don’t always have to cost anything and allows people more flexibility. I also do a weekly social at a pub quiz. Small and friendly and easier to get to know people. It’s been years since I’ve done a social that charged. |

Possibly, depending on location and cost. We aren't up for paying for a social at a free venue for example, and arent really coming to say leith or that area. We will keep our eyes peeled for updates though  |

I wouldn’t have thought the venue would be free. If it’s being hired exclusively then it’s not free. There will be a cost to attend the event |

Some venues if you can fill them with x amount of people and take in c amount over the bar they will give you the cost of the hire back
Happens all time and some organisers will take a deposit that’s returned as a drink when you arrive |

Why not find a venue, sort a date and cost and run the event? Decide how often you’re going to meet and start from there. I’d suggest you start off small say 30-40 and see how it goes.
These things have to build up and you’ll have some quieter nights than others. Regular socials don’t have to be overly complicated. |
