Club cancelled no refund.

"We prepaid to go to a club. The organisers cancelled the event were supposed to refund. But now not even answering our messages. I really feel like naming and shaming them ."
There's no real need to name and shame and get self into bother.
There is only 1 in Edinburgh which never takes payment up front and then the gay sauna place that had some Fabswingers people do events for their place which was prepayment.
So for anyone who has any interests in clubs in Scotland you have effectively made it abundantly clear who the people are as isn't the establishment who takes the money.

Not necessarily. The venue that the Edinburgh club is held in also does private hire, and some of those have been other swingers events advertised here. So might not be the 'club', but could be different organisers in the same venue.
Since the Council permissions appeal got declined last month bit surprising they'd be taking new bookings anyway. |

Actually that is a very good point the swingers nights are pay on arrival but the organisers things they are pay in advance.
I absolutely couldn't imagine the socials done before swingers nights at Edinburgh club are accused as they 2 are genuine people and strongly believe would never pull a stunt like that.
The kink leaning organised events there I can't speculate on as don't know the people at all.
So I may have jumped the gun slightly as know sauna place arrangement between organisers and establishment ended and I really can't say much positive about person behind the advertising profile. |

It was advertised as a new club on here . But thankfully since posting on here they have returned our messages and promised too refund us next week.
Pity I had to post on here to get a reply to my messages. But hopefully its sorted now . |

Yes but the private events haven’t been cancelled. So I’m pretty sure it’s no them but the other establishment that LassNGuy hinted about |

Sounds really fishy that it'll be next week before you get the refund .. a bank transfer is almost instant , therefore what's been done with the money and the fact the could refund others but chose to ignore you till they couldn't ignore you anymore because overs have clicked on to who they are .. hopefully you get your refund ! |

Evening all!
Just wanted to be really clear in case there's any misunderstanding that this thread is in no way linked to the socials that I co-organise through the PinkandLittleMiss profile.
Our social events are pay in advance due to the spend we have on them, however all our events have gone ahead and will continue to do so.

This seems to be part of a ongoing planning saga which may or possibly will rumble on for a couuple of years.

Agreed. The girls put on a great social event. Like us we've only attended one, but we'll confidently book more in future. |

Do concur sentiments expressed about the ladies socials, unfortunately we haven't attended 1 their events yet but have known the ladies before these social events and was in no way trying to suggest could be you both just had to concede it was remotely possible it wasn't the almost certainty to who it was.

"There was an event the other day but not in Edinburgh that required prepayment through a booking site. I use cash so could not book."
While cash is a very anonymous way to pay
club owners or event organisers have to endure no shows or last minute cancellations that reduce those able to attend
If you are going you go, you don’t deny someone a chance to go by denying by them a place.
