Social / Flirty company??
Jump to: Newest in thread
Is it just us or are socials getting harder to arrange? We really love to have fun with naughty meets, but would also like to be able to go out and socialise with like minded people too. We are aware of pre club meets and the socials through the week, but would love just a few drinks and some flirty company maybe the odd weekend. Anyone else ?? X |

"The complete opposite for myself it's always a social first with zero expectations. " Always a social first no matter what, unless you're female and from Dundee |

I keep finding that the socials anyone seems interested in are the pre club ones. I too would just like to able to enjoy a bit of company, with no expectations but it seems time is too precious for some people. |

Far more interested in social-only nowadays as I’m loved up and loving it (fellow fabber) so we attend the occasional organised social gatherings when it suits. (Last weekend at AD was a blast.)
I’ll be in the local pub this evening from about 6ish with vanilla friends. |

"A lot of people would rather just get down to it
I have always been all for a social first gives you a feel for what people are like before any potential fun you just can't do that online"
Can't agree more. |

There’s a few of us who just go out in glasgow instead of always going to CJ’s. We may still go for dinner or to pre drinks but usually end up in the gay bars/clubs! |

We love a social too. Drinks, food, even a quick coffee to get a good feel (pun not intended) of the other person / people before deciding whether to progress or not. The social aspect of fab can be just as fun! |

We like a social. We once tried to organise a social using the forums with five couples who didn’t know each other just for drinks in a pub. In the end three pulled out so it got cancelled. We’d go to a small social. The big ones seem to fill up quickly and we miss them. |

I've tried to arrange a few socials lately . People bite bit then don't turn up or ignore you ... It's frustrating . Stick to clubs and the larger socials .
( I am trying to arrange a comedy night in Kirkcaldy for September for a small social group ,at the same time as writing this ) |

I am going to try organise a wee social thinking fri the 18th or Sat 19th August. My preference would be Glasgow or surrounding areas, but would be open to location ideas as i would just go with the majority |

Hello. I think it depends on where you’re from though. Me and my gal are new to this and would love a social meet no obligations meets. But not being in glasgow or edinburgh it is quite a commitment to our time. I think a club is our best bet as we like to watch and be watched ?? |

We're having an evening out in Glasgow on Sunday before the bank holiday Monday. If anyone's going out or wants to join, give us a shout.
But if your driving and not drinking you're the taxi home! |

Pretty much the same as us. Wanting to find others on the same wavelength as us. Would much rather a social and have a laugh with others. Then yeah if we all clicked and laughed then lets talk what fun we could have |

I have been off the site for a good while. Would quite like a social to get to know a few folk and that way if I was going to an event or something I wouldn't feel awkward not knowing anyone. |

There aren't nearly enough socials.
I often wonder how some of the like minded couples on here got together. Was it just luck ? Lol
Its much better to meet socially and get to know folk a bit. If you get on it's great and if not, then it's better to know.
I've never been to a club like CJ's, would love to, but find it daunting on my own. Is it full of single guys ? Are they worth going to as a single guy etc.
Would be a lot better to go with someone, or maybe you have to go to meet someone. I just don't know lol. |

"I struggle to get a social. Its the meet verified thing for me. Cant be meet verified unless we meet.
Doubt that is your main issue "
Agreed, that’s a pure honkin profile |
