50 First Meets... A Swinging Speed Dating Adventure
An Edinburgh Social Event - Saturday 19th August 2023, 530pm-830pm Afterdark Club
Our socials have been a great success this year, not only a great time on the night but lots of new friendships too!
Our next event will be speeding up the getting to know you part. A perfect opportunity to meet fellow fabbers in a relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to do anything other than make new connections and friends!
Details are as follows:
- Venue will be Afterdark (as a private event)
- Social will run from 5.30pm - 8.00pm with the option to stay on to enjoy an evening at the club (arrival between 5.30pm & 6pm)
- Event will be £20 per person regardless of your gender, all welcome
- If choosing to stay on after, the club will offer everyone £10 off their entry fee
- Ratios of genders will be monitored to allow a good mix of people attending
- Your entry is to cover the hire of the venue, equipment, catering, etc
-Bring your own bottle
-There is no dress code but please treat this as a normal night out with fab friends
- Verifications will be required for all confirmed places. However, we recognise that a lot of people will use a social to gain verifications, so we are happy to do a quick video call with those without
- Parking available for those driving, and main transport links not too far away
- No last minute entry on the evening
Our events have all sold out well before the date, we have a limit on capacity as we organise activities, food and soft drinks, if you don't want to miss out, book in asap!

"Can’t make the 19th Aug but how often do they happen as would like to come to one in September or later."
We run the socials and events when we can, every month or 2, different themes/activities usually, keep an eye on our page and the forum for future ones |

Afternoon!
Hope you’re well. We just wanted to reach out with some sad news 
Unfortunately we’ve had to make the difficult decision to postpone our swingers speed dating social on the 19th Aug.
It’s not what we’d like to have to do, but factors including the Festival, hotel prices, and holidays have meant that there’s a large number who can’t make it.
We’ve always been about creating the right atmosphere and making sure everyone feels included and relaxed, and with the factors above, we don’t feel like we’ll be able to do this for you!
As for all payments, we’re ready to either refund you, or transfer your payment to the next social event which will be going ahead on Sat 16th Sept. This won’t be a speed dating night, but will most likely be a games night so plenty of fun and mingling involved.
We will be rescheduling the speed dating for another date in the future as we love the idea, so for those of you who’ve been thinking about your disaster stories then please keep these handy!
Let us know by Friday what you’d like us to do with the money, and if we don’t hear from you, then we’ll automatically refund this.
