Hi all!
That’s the venue booked for our next social on Saturday 5th August 6-10pm.
As usual, the venue will only be disclosed when you message on the day to confirm your intended attendance to the social.
All welcome and just to confirm this is not the big summer social. A few people have asked that’s all and unfortunately that has nothing to do with us and has been cancelled.
Social info:
6-10pm
This will be a strictly social event in a public venue so no playing! 
It will be in a venue in the centre of Aberdeen and the venue will be given out on the day, just message your interest to; https://m.fabswingers.com/profile/aberdeenmonthlysocial
Once you receive the venue on the day please don’t share this info with others… if you know folk who want to come along they need to message from their profile for the venue
For any newbies who have been debating whether to come along please feel free to message or comment below as it can be a scary thought and everyone who is now a regular will tell you they felt the same way the first time but it’s a lovely bunch of folk and a good night out
We will also be having a sweepstake card and will be creating a playlist for the night so that I (DJ sparkles) don’t have to struggle with jukebox selections most of the night lol

Chaps its a social, drinks, chat, and get to know your fellow fabbers. Often later on group will head to Cheers or maybe Krakatoa.
Don't there is a theme for this one so dress as you would for a normal night out.
Its a really friendly crowd |

No dress code. We usually congregate in a certain spot in the venue. When we can we will hire a certain room so it’s more private. All the details needed to spot us will be in the message you get when you confirm your attendance on the day. We are also quite good at spotting newbies and will come to introduce ourselves

Unfortunately I won’t be able to host the next social with Sparkle.
So those of you who are attending that are regulars please give Sparkle a hand to welcome the newbies which I know you all will.
And for all those newbies or those I’ve not met yet, I’ll hopefully see you all at the September one which will be a Sunday night just to give you the heads up.

Unfortunately funds have taken a hit so I won't be attending my first social. I hope everyone attending has a lovely evening and in the future I'll hopefully see you at one of these.

We are now at maximum capacity for tonight’s social.
So please if you cannot attend but said you are going. Please message the social page to let us know and we will score you off tonight’s list.
This will allow someone else to be able to attend.
We will be responding to message up until 5pm
Anyone caught posting the venue or dropping hints as to where it will be on here will be banned from future socials and blocked from the page.

Looking at the posts on the forum and the status on profiles, I'm gutted I missed out on this social. Hopefully funds are better placed for the next one though and will see what happens. But glad everyone who attended had a great night and hope to maybe show my face as a newbie at the next one xx |
