Tonight's classic said to my sub-two year-old was: "I want to hear some noise. Just sticking it in your mouth & sucking doesn't count." which came shortly after "Stop playing with your mother's jazzie & eat it."

Both had very mundane reasons, but they wouldn't be funny if I told you them.
