Spoke to loads of folks on here. Just about all of them talk about experiences they've had and the rules they've set themselves because of them.

So, if there was a top ten of really well advised 'rules' that could be made up based on everyone's experience, what would they be?

I think I'll categorise this into rules for men, women and couples.

Treat fab like any social media. Sign up to events, share your own photos and talk to friends. The rest of swinging happens in real life

When you message someone do it as you would in a pub or elsewhere when you want to meet someone..

that is, don't have your dick out, don't ignore anyone, be polite and have fun. "How are you, what you into, can I fuck your mrs" really are not good chat up lines.

Be yourself and have fun.

That’s pretty much the advice to take. I’ve found meeting people in person has been far more rewarding than making opinions based online. Get yourself to the socials chum

Put a bit of effort into your profile.

If you aren't getting meets, look at other people's profiles to get some inspiration for your own one.

That always irks me - profiles stating "Don't send cock pics, no one-liners, don't be lewd" etc etc. I say don't let those guys conceal their natural instincts. If they really think the aforementioned is a good way to make a good first impression, then training them to behave otherwise is merely opening yourself up to disappointment further down the line.

Block the erses and pick me instead!

Learn the rules of spelling and grammar and write well in messages. If you seek class then come across as classy.

Don’t have a profile without public photos. There is no reason not to have public body photos. It makes some people suspicious as to what you are hiding.

Understand that the person you want, May not be the person you get. It's the equivalent of Gregory's girl, only Clare Grogan may actually be Bill Grogan and you end up rolling with it as they are actually a decent person and make you forget your not supposed to like that type.

Empathy and respect are also important components of niceness. During your day, try to see things from the perspective of the other people on Fab and think about things that we can do to respect their needs. Even if you disagree with what someone else is doing, try to treat them with niceness and respect. There's multiple nice people on here however there's multiple not so nice people at the same time. Being good, kind and respectful costs the same amount as manners.
