Touch wood, I've actually been ok so far. I couldn't even tell you the name of the antihistamines I'm on, but had to get from the doctor last year after trying everything else. J |

You are lucky. The only thing that has ever cut the mustard was a drug called trilludan but that got band as it was giving people heart failure . Just suffered since then |

"fexofenadine on prescription is the only antihistamine that's ever worked for me. Topped up with over the counter nasal sprays and eye drops. "
Same for me, tried plenty of the other over the counter but fexofenadine wins hands down, might have to take a few a day when pollen is at its highest non-drowsy as well.

Nothing is helping much for me. I have bad asthma aswell so my main issue is struggling to breathe.
I have the Fexo medication twice a day plus eye drops, nasal sprays and then my asthma meds of 3 inhallers and 2 different tablets to take. I use a saline nebuliser and a saline nose spray and i sit in the bathroom with the shower running. Need the pollen count to go down. |

"Thanks all shall bare that in mind "
For me hayfever is very cyclic for years it affected me badly, eyes puffing up, nose blocked sinuses blocked causing major headaches and once had to take a week off sick due to the pounding headaches caused by it. A year later not a thing for and a few years more and then it came back with a vengeance.
I don’t know if you all know what type of pollen it is that you’re allergic too?? Mines is from the trees which can make a difference to the type of anti-histamine that you should take, it’s not a one cures all.
Knowing that it’s just tree pollen that affects me I can cut the lawn quite happily, smell the grass pollen and it doesn’t affect me, strange as that sounds.
