It must be hard to find the sweet spot for how often to do social events, too often and they can too diluted and too long in between can cause the same. I don’t envy you or those who do put the efforts in to organise them.

Yeah it's disheartening but what can u do really it was just to try give fife something our location isn't great as no any accommodation near by but not 100miles away. I get good rates with local taxis and who knows people could taxi share there n back from dunfermline which is where most bnb/hotels xx |

It can take time for events to get established so don’t be too disheartened.
I’ve been doing weekly pub quiz socials for over 7 years and it can still be a bit hit or miss depending on everyone’s commitments.
Do your homework and see what else is on at the same time and try and pick a date most people should be free and it doesn’t clash with any major theme nights or other big events in the area. |
