18 years ago this week ( 24th nov 1991 ) the world lost the greatest performer of all time in my opinion ( jacko was great but freddie was awesome )
RIP freddie gone but not forgotten
anyway what was you favourite queen or freddie song?
i have loads of them as i think they all were awesome but i`m going with
"don`t stop me now"
if i`m driving when this song comes on the radio you better hold tight cause the turbo kicks in and i`m in triple figures within seconds lol
closely followed by
"who wants to live forever"
"bohemian rhapsody"
"breakthru" ( love how the song runs round your speakers )
"radio ga ga"
oh buggger i love them all
freddie & queen how i wished i had a time machine to see them live just once in my life

I first heard of Queen as a 13yr old back in 1974 after hearing the "Sheer Heart Attack" album and saw then perform "Killer Queen" on Top of the Pops.
Been a fan ever since.
Saw them 4 times in Glasgow Apollo, twice before and twice after the release of Bohemian Rhapsody, have had the privelage of seeing them on a few occasions since.
Met Brian May with Anita Dobson in Teneriffe, and recently saw him and Roger perform with Paul Rodgers.
I have no fave Queen song as I own over 20 of their albums but if you listen to the " Live Killers" album there is a live version of "Spread your Wings" on there that is immense.
They wrote so many great songs and was at the Edinburgh Playhouse last Saturday watching the "We Will Rock You" show, must admit was in tears when the girl sang " Only The good Die Young"

way too many queen faves... brighton rock..i`m in love wiht my car....sheer heart attack...flash....and the list goes on n on n on..
BUT prolly one of my faves and the one that gets me the most emotional is..these are the days of our lives..
he made the video when he was seriously ill.. only the lighting and make up made him look well.. jus something about the mood o the song and the way he looks at the cam on the last line and sings..i still love you..
gives me goose bumps and brings a tear to my eye everytime |
