mr hedo wrote something about old days and it got me thinking we r on a swinging site on a computer how many of us on this site did it the old way on top shelf mags and did they get eny results or would they put there pics in a mag now ? |

we never did the mag thing
i mr H started perving on a site called dirty david & swing 2 us around 2001 or so ( that got me into a bit of bother when i finally told mrs h i had been a member on them before we did this as a couple lol never met anyone or even tried to just research lol )
anyway every now and then i`d drop hints to mrs H about swinging to see if she would be interested in it,if a tv programme was covering the subject i`d make sure she was watching it etc lol
it was around 2005 before we did it properly and the internet was thriving with swing sites so no need to use contact mags and we havn`t looked back since,even our holidays are swinging themed 
but now and then you do need to take a reality check and get on with your real life
as long as you keep this as a fun hobby and nothing more you can last years at it i`m sure,we`ve been nearly 5 years and still get as nervous on meets as we did on our first one

first couple we ever meet mr hedo was from oban it was a soft swing but they told us they had been in a swingers mag for years and not had eny luck would be intresting to see how meny people on here were in mags and did they have eny luck dont think we would put things in mags |

I used to buy scottish contacts mag and scottish rendez vu and i put an ad in with my mobile number (old sim) and just like on-line the amount of time wasters is unreal,i would get texts from "women" asking what i would like to do to them and to be as explicit as possible and when i texted back saying let me know a time to call you so that i know your genuine the texts stopped.
Single guys hiding behind a text wanting details and pics from you so they could get off,i did meet one lovely couple and that was my introduction to swinging,it was all conducted via snail mail(post) then they gave out there mobile and took things from there.

we started with the mags years ago and had lots of success there were plenty of meets and fun. Although I was a lot younger than the couples we met, we still enjoyed it and made some very good friends. I would say the results were a little less than on here and the drawback of the mags was that you sent a photo of yourself and never got it back.

Contact mags did work (some still do) but they were a slow and expensive way of doing things.
I don't believe they were any more or less prone to fakes than online arrangements - probably less so since the advertisers, males, females and couples, could only receive initial replies by post to a genuine address. |

our route to swing nirvana was similar to hedo - never did the mags thing, but swing2us and yahoo messenger groups (which no longers exists I dont think) was how we found our first meet.
All this was after a few years of fantasy about naughties with others, mainly for the erotic thoughts it gave us in our own sex-lives.
we still keep to the same formula though - ultra discrete, always need a girl/girl phone call first etc etc, and if there is any feeling that the vibes are not right for us we politely back off. I'm sure we have "lost" some fine people this way, but we are happy with how it has all turned out for us.

Tried the mags route too but it didn't work, cost too much money,
Even used Daily Sport telephone contact numbers too, which did work and met a few people off them.
Came on line and have used a number of various adult sites with varying results before coming here.
Spending £5 every so often on here as a site supporter is much easier than the £20 a month or whatever on other sites.
Also this site believe it or not with all its faults has still been the most enjoyable as far as both meets and the camaradarie of the chat rooms etc. |
