I must say that there has been an awful lot of good swingers departing fab recently. Although I didn't know them all, it always seems a shame 
I myself have been considering quitting, although I don't think I actually will. I have noticed recently there has been a large downward spiral in the quality of men joining up. I can't speak for couples or single ladies cause generally I don't seem to get much contact with them.
Speaking to other swingers to, there definately has been a shift in the quality of people joining fab. Anyone else agree??
Or am I just getting grumpy and jaded? haha xx |

i'm lucky i met a genuine nice guy who was new to fab.....but other than him other new guys who have joined have done little to make me want to meet them or talk to them......
can't say bout women and couples

Dont know if latest guys joining site are any different from guys on site previously. I was on site for over a year and managed to meet quite a few really nice girls, but then i got kinda fed up n made mistake of deleting account. I am same person who was on previously but have noticed that being now seen as a newcommer i am not managing to get any meets at all, just think quite rightly girls like to have comfort of seeing a guy with some decent verifications before entertaining them |

Squidgy.... I think its just a fact that we will all have to get used to.
Yes, more people are joining this and no doubt other swinging sites. More and more stories are run in the media,glossy mags, womens mags, guys mags and this gets people interested.
There will be a percentage of new members that turn out to pains in the arse but I doubt very much if that percentage has grown any....its all relative....im sure there will be thousands of decent new members too.
Remember that those new members that come on and dont know how to behave or how to message people wont get very far and will get bored over time and leave. (oh and post in the forum how they cant get any meets, lol)
Dont be dissalusioned, just get thicker skin!

I've known a few people who've given up swinging over the years for a variety of reasons.
Some came to swinging in search of something, found it and left.
Some came to swinging in search of something, found it and then realised it wasn't what they were looking for in the first place.
Some people's relationship grew stronger to the point where they didn't want to include anyone else in their play.
Some people's relationship deteriorated to the point where they neither wanted anyone else OR each other.
Some people left swinging 'cos their partner found out about it. |

Met you and your sexy and excellent fun, its a lengthy process though,talking to people doing the meets,and creating equally sexy and fun friends to both trust and meet.
The ones who cant even message to create interest,thats their doing, stick around and in time other equally sexy and fun people will keep you here and enjoying it i hope.

well we`ve been here since fab started back in the days when you searched scottish members only 20 in total came up in the results,no one was verified even folks we knew so we couldn`t get verified until the site owners kindly verified us after a good old yap over the phone with them,the rest is history so to speak as we started to verify friends and so on and so on the big fab tree started to grow,as that happened people came and went,finding it wasn`t for them etc
but we`ve stuck by it and watched aswell as help it grow by reccommending it to friends etc
we aint going anywhere in a hurry but do take a step back from it now and again for a wee breather ( having one just now  )
in all walks of life people come and go that`s why we never reply to goodbye posts,if they gonna leave then leave

it is a shame to see a lot of folk leaving
we think about it every day just now. just cant bring ourselves to hit the big button! but were getting no interest so we may as well.

eh never thought of it like that  but suppose i am, deffo no one in scotland was verified as far as i remember except sluttycpl ( the original site owners )
so me being me had a wee moan as to why we couldn`t get verified,they said they would verify us if they could phone us and chat to us both,that chat if i remember rightly lasted a wee while ( mrs h can yap lol )
we then told a few friends about the site and then we verified them i think the first ones we did after that was tempnbunk,saucys and countrypair and the thing grew from there
there were a good few english members and some verified but we didn`t know any of them so was useless to ask them to verify us
the chat room back then was dead all day,a busy day in it was 4 folks if you were lucky lol
how different it is now and for the better but obviously as it grows folks will leave and numpties will join but hey makes it interesting lol

cetainly noticed a huge rise in the amount of new 'couples' with the profiles that are skimpy to say the least, and who drop the private messages when the conversation of getting photo veried comes up....  |

I wasn't really grumbling about folk leaving fab. Folks are welcome to come and go as they please. More was grumbling that there are more timewasters now than ever!
Appreciate everyones comments though. I had a rather last minute dinner with someone recently and was pleasantly surprised. I forget that most people get nervous before a meet, I only really get nervous anymore before I meet a couple. Was very sweet! Ah well, maybe these unverified newbie males aren't soo bad after all.... xx  |

I suppose as a new person to the scottish chatroom I am not sure If I should be offended
people come and go... singles, couples, women..... they find what they want, and leave.... but the thing about the new people is you have to give them time to find there own style... regardless of what that is...
I remember being nervous as fuck when I started going in, and I'll let you into a secret... I'll be nervous as fuck when I go to the social in a few weeks...
maybe the moral of the story is that the genuine guys are diamonds and should be treated a lot better then they are...... |

think its the same on a lot of swing sites, people just take time out leave and come back. I gotta be fair the same ppl that were here when i joined well over a year ago are still here plus some nice new members also some arseholes which we get everywhere. Also such a lot of ppl change their names thesedays which confuses me lol but on the whole you get out what you put in, if that makes any sense. xxx enjoy  |

I am leaving the site as I feel it is time to move on.
I've been neglecting other hobbies that I would normally be doing if I wasn't so addicted to this site.
There are people here who have become special to me and I have forwarding contact details if I should wish to continue playing, but as far as the site is concerned nah I'm finished.

its like most things -- folk come on and give it a try and when they find out it is not a shag fest they leave or when they make their likes so narrow that unless they will only ever meet them in a mirror well you get the idea.
as for us real folk that have been on the site for a time we know the score and realise that it is not just about sex |

one thing you will find and trust me this is from experience, many of the people that leave (esp those who do the big goodbye etc) always come back lol
then there are those that do leave and say goodbye and do actually leave lol |
