All the time, nothing worse than an untidy house, there’s no excuse.

I posted a picture on here with me standing in the kitchen. My floor tiles are so awful they look dirty even when they're clean, I had to remove the picture as I didnt want anyone thinking I keep a dirty house.

I’m guilty of using the bathroom mirror. But there’s no toilet in any pic. Yeah.. No thanks.

One of the first pictures we got sent on the site was someone in a white t-shirt with a big stain on it. There was a parrot in the background. Call us snobs but ….

Messy and dirty aren't the same thing. I don't mind a bit of mess, people get busy and overwhelmed at times, but I'm put off if it's actually dirty. An unclean bathroom especially makes me super uncomfortable, but I'm not gonna freak out if someone forgot to put some laundry away or didn't have time to clear away their work stuff.

Posts like this make me question how people are so far up their own arses. Maybe people should try and find a clean background if they want to take a good picture...

But...

In a world which is going far too fast with daily life being as difficult as can be, being unable to keep up with chores etc, messy people are allowed to try and have some fun too. Messy people may be challenged physically and/or with mental health issues, so trying to keep on top of it could be a serious challenge. To say there is no excuse is bullshit, it just means your too far up yer own are to be human, and your wrapped up in your own world of vanity.

Yes we both look at the background..it is off putting when you see a room not decorated and random things on the floor...or dirty bedding with a can of tennents on the bedside cabinet. Lol

Don't agree that because I like things tidy I'm up my own arse, or that people that like tidiness don't have mental health or just live problem free lives. In fact I know people with great struggles that have emaciated houses. But in my head l could not have fun in a messy house, it would make me uncomfortable maybe that's a problem with my mental health or maybe that's just me

No body is perfect and we all have to live our lives. All I'm saying is if you are putting a picture up on a site like this you are giving out a first impression and if the background looks like the house has been hit by a tornado, it doesn't give a great first impression

It's not just pics, we met with a couple at Cjs once and the male hadn't bothered to shave had a stain down the front of his un-ironed shirt.

She was lovely but we are not playing with people that don't make an effort, we take a lot of pride in our appearance

This!! It’s almost like they’re taking it in the bathroom to be secretive. Who wants to see the cazzee when looking at pics

It’s not being up your own arse at all.

Someone’s home being a tip is an indicator of a lack of personal pride and self discipline, and someone with a lack of self discipline is likely to not be careful with their sexual health.

There is absolutely no excuse. My house is normally pretty clean, but if I’m having someone over in general, never mind for fun, my house is ready for inspection by The King himself.

Every one is entitled to a messy house.... And everyone is entitled not to meet those people... Or any one else for that matter.

Yeah it's definitely something that we notice in pictures. We wouldn't feel too comfortable meeting people in a house that was clatty so keeping an eye on photos helps haha.

Shogun thinks I'm a little obsessed with having the house clean if someone is coming round, but I don't want anyone thinking I live in a dirty house.

If I'm taking pics I'll ensure the room is tidy first, messy rooms are not sexy.
