So being the wrong side of 50 has its issues, iv experienced ( depending on what one is looking for online ) there are social platforms for various categories but all are mixed with the majority under 50.. should or could we have a 50+ platform? Or do people think this wouldn't work? |

Iv got filters on but find when your on the wrong side of 50 it causes issues. I'm on what's app and telegram groups but most on them are under my age filter on fab so we can't message here unless I open up my filters or message first its a pain, so was thinking it might be good to have an over 50 platform |

But your age group only goes to 58 so opening up a over 50s chat to what you say wrong side of 50 you are still excluding people the wrong side of 60 age is but a number. There's some great sexy folk over 50. All age groups have fab crazies and disrespectful people. We have met great people of all age groups from 20s to 70s   |

We have met people and their photos and age on here bears no resemblance to real life.
We are over 50 and feel and act no different to when we were much younger.
The only difference is we know what we want and are no afraid to say so.
We are also happy meeting people over 50 as we are of meeting younger.
Life is not about age, it is about living it. |

Not sure how it would work as a lot of over 50’s might be looking for younger and younger than 50 might be looking for older so I guess it would only really work for those over 50 looking for over 50’s .

I always find it funny when we cant message someone due to our ages, I think its safe to say the same people that set age ranges especially some guys would definitely not turn down my Mrs if they got to meet in person. Age is just a number that basically doesn't mean anything with regards to swinging. We prefer to judge on attraction, personality and banter. |

I have adult sons and daughter mid 30s with partners early 40s so for me age is a big factor in what I do or who I meet with or without a partner. I'm looking for one friend hopefully long term who is on the scene so I have set filters for my preference but most who view and wink are outside my age preference  |

Absolutely ms D…. ADULT seeking ADULT…. A wonderful idea…. And it would tend to keep the kids and the krazies at bay …. AND …. It could provide a social platform for daytime playtime for the retirees |

I thought the same. Cool idea in theory, but would only serve the 50+ crowd who only want to meet other 50+ folk. Lotta people out there prefer younger. Then again, the older age groups who are looking for similar aren't less deserving of their own space just because there may be less of 'em.

We’re looking for
Straight couples who like full swap
Will meet over 50s
Who are in reasonable shape for their age
Are not just bang and go as we like a bit of chat before
We no longer meet men
We don’t do clubs locally due to jobs
Taking all these into account and it’s a small pool of potential meets.

It does makes sense. But maybe for a telegram support group (Zimmer, crutch, walking stick, your choice for support). Personally I’ve never made much of age differences - to a point. As Sun mentions for her own situation, my eldest is 25, so close to that nawww. (Hope D doesn’t read this as she’s just out of nappies  ) |

As other people have pointed out filters work but I do think they are broad brush approach by some. What’s the difference between 49 and 50. Not a lot
I’ve seen a lot fitter people over 50 than those in their 20’s but I suppose it’s all about taste.
