Glasgow pub recommendations

Hi, heading out on Saturday night (22nd) with a group of pals and looking for recommendations on pubs. Got a starting place sorted, but eventually some will leave and some will want to stay out, so looking for pubs with a late license or even a club with a bit of an older crowd? Don't want to end up in some place full of weans! Thanks in advance.

Wunderbar or if your looking for a club with an older crowd (though it is very mixed) club tropicana is your place.....I'd recommend a few shots of Tequila beforehand though

Thank you, been in Wunderbar before, still a bit mental busy cause it's kind of new, but Club Tropicana could be a shout. Appreciate it x

Missoula is also good, always crazy busy though and crazy hot! and can be a bit wild ha. Some of the wee old man's pubs on hope Street are also a good night

Boteco I think it's called near Maggie Mays is good if you are into kinda Bob Marley soul stuff.. melting pot in there, can get in past midnight ..

If you like up market posh pretentious setting try Corinthian, merchant city..

All bar one is a good stop .. Sloan's off argyle Street, horse shoe bar near the station and the maltman up the street from there all older clientele.

Is The Maltman not like a scene from the film Cocoon?

Yeah, places in the Merchant City are good. Beer café, metropolitan and a few others on the outside of it.

Howling Wolf is another good bar albeit it’s a sweat box.

Thanks for all ideas folks. Going to be starting in and around the merchant city, few ideas for up that way might work, but who know where the night shall end. Enjoy what you're all doing, and if you're out and about later drop me a wee message. Cheers!

LANARKSHIRE

This may be a bit late in the evening, bit if your not used to the Glasgow nightlife, do be warned the Glasgow doorstaff can be absolute *ankers. I genuinely would not try swapping venues later in the night, as the doorstaff are notoriously bad.
