Hello all, aware that Aberdeen has social nights (which we hope to attend in the near future) however is there anything like that in the Moray/Inverness area?
Would love to attend more social events but with a young family often can't travel that far.

It has been suggested many times but rarely happens. I have been to one small social in Moray last year I think it was. We go to the Aberdeen ones occasionally however they are often on a Sunday night, which isn't great unless we are off the next day and just stay in a hotel.
Why not arrange one?

Any idea where to start? Can you imagine the scandal in Moray trying to book somewhere for a swingers social?

Why do you have to tell them its for swingers?
It could be a work do, a leaving do, a knitting group, a church social group
The Aberdeen social organisers don't advertise the location, you have to contact them on the day of the event and you are given the location then. Its very well organised

I'm not sure why but the idea of a knitting group seems quite appealing

I think most pubs would be grateful for the custom and wouldnt even ask questions
I doubt it would be a large gathering as long and as you kept the venue secret until the day you would avoid the idiot single men |

"There are social events happening in moray, through in Alvis, there is one on tomorrow, only once a month but it's good"
Never realised this. We did attended the couple of socials from last year and would be very interested in any other ones. Would like arrange one but spend lot of time looking after mum. |
