Was at claws and tawse in February and it is a great little event but wouldn't necessarily put it in a gay bar or club thread as isn't for gays exclusively but is open to all to express and enjoy themselves.

Possibly the nearest explicitly LGBT friendly place to Perth would be the Kandy bar/nightclub in Dundee, no affiliation Might be others in Dundee, I have no idea what they are like.
Guess it isn't much help to OP as they might be home by now!

Perth managed to kick out Ann summers a few years back. The locals would not stand for anything sexual within the walls of the fair city.
If you float further down the tay to Dundee they are a little more understanding and liberal.  |

We know its not Scots related but us Geordies are just Scots with our brains kicked out we have been informed. Newcastle have whats called the pink triangle where there are many gay bars. It attracts lots of swingers too. It's a great area to have a good night out   |
