Was thinking an afternoon/evening gathering in a pub or something else with similarly minimal planning.
Most people, including me, work during the week so it's not gonna be a mid-week thing. |

Set a date and a place, and if we can we will come.
(it is impossible to meet the times and dates for everyone....so just set it out there. and everyone tries to come....or goes to the next one.)

Cool, keep posting those who are interested- the more who show an interest, the more motivation it is to organise something.
Anyway, I'm dying of the cold at the minute so it'll be the weekend before I give it any proper thought. All suggestions welcome in the meantime. |

Next Friday night (25th Jan)? If interested post a message here and I'll send you time and place.
I'm not booking anywhere - few drinks, bit of chat; sitting down for a meal is a bit too formal. |

Will try to message details tomorrow night, but might not get time as its a very long day at work for me tomorrow.
Thursday evening by the latest.
If you haven't said so in the thread by Thursday evening, I can't send you the details as I'll be too busy with work stuff during the day on Friday. |

Hi, I hope everyone sees this before they head out. Had a lot of people say they can't make it because of the weather, and I'm inclined to agree. I'm on my phone so don't have time/battery to message everyone but I think we should postpone till next Friday. There's no way I can be there on time, nowhere near home from work yet.
PS Those who can get in to town feel free to go ahead and follow original plan, it's just impossible for me to get there in this weather! |
