we recently had a meet where we took a few pictures. but after uploading them to fab the other guy involved copied the pictures from our profile and uploaded them to his profile. now we like to be discreet and dont like the idea of some1 just copying & uploading pics of us on to there profile without our permission! what do yous guys think?

Hmmm thats a hard one because if tbis person is in thr ones they copied then i would think they are allowed to since they are in it.

Did you ask him if you could post pics of his involvement?? If yes then thats fine but if you didnt get his permission you are as bad as him??

If he copied and pasted pics you posted they must be discrete by your standards or you wouldnt have posted them.

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

If you had a good meet and all got on well surley a wee email to tell him u wernt happy and could he remove them for editing before reposting would have been better then embarasing the poor guy by posting this on here ?

Sorry I meant

I agree with the majority. Think it would have been better if you spoke to him privately instead of posting it for everyone to read.

Maybe reading this wrong, but it's ok for you to put the pics up, but not the guy??? Bit unfair isn't it?? Maybe you should have discussed what happens to the pics beforehand

You have 2 public pics which show a partial face so I can't see what you're complaining of.

Always ask if its ok,,, so he now has your pics up on his profile but with your screename incorporated on the pics?

That's not cool.

Once you allow photographs into the wild you effectively lose all control over their disrtibution.

Yes, the other guy OUGHT to have sought your consent to post them to his profile - after all, why would you withhold permission but once YOU've uploaded them to Fab, you lose all rights to claim 'to be discreet'.

Scrap all this copyright crap its not legal you own no copyright and you cannot take any action against anyone by admitting to uploading these pics you are legally distributing pornography allow someone to take pics at a meet you allow them to do as they wish. If anyone who knew you were on here they would know its you minus the head or not.this is a public domain and these pics are being grabbed and used all over the internet so if youre worried about it or have kids i would be careful what pics can be seen and by who we have found our pics on 8 websites so far

The sites got quite efficient rules on pics that are allowed, no face showing in pics of the female if your a solo male, no display of unique characteristics, tattoo's jewellery etc.

I.ve never recognised anyone in a faceless pic before in my life.

I think thats fair.

I love posing and taking naughty pictures on a meet. When on meets, one person takes pictures on their camera and email to all involved.

I never allow my face to be public and i would always blank outs others face/tattoos in other pitures.

The safest solution if you don't want your pics to be all over the web is don't take any.

If pictures are taken though, I would have thought both parties should agree before posting them on their profiles.
