Is there any good routes anyone can suggest up the Campsie Hills?

NE and Central Belt

Check Stripey Hat Guy on YouTube. He has done some overnighter camping there. Or look at Walkhighlands website.

Lanarkshire

Meikle Bin would be my suggestion. Park at Todd Holes car park and walk up the forest path.

The only issue is, when I did this route about a month ago, there was evidence that forestry commission had been bringing trees down. Try and go on a Sunday when you won’t have your peace disturbed by lorry’s and heavy machinery.

Lanarkshire

You should visit the Loup of Fintry. No real walks around it but it is the most stunning waterfall, not far from the roadside.
