"Ohhh I didn't know this was happening, might buy a ticket for Sunday. Is it a good day out?
Mrs C "
It’s what’s you make of it tbh not a lot of vendors there like you used to get but if you take it as supporting the idea and trying to encourage them to keep it going and meet with friends and possibly picking up a wee bargain if you’re already looking for new gear then yes it’s defo worth it
Young kids will love it regardless because there’s lots of bikes to see and if the demos are going then great
But going with a negative attitude is defo going to be shit day |

"Just drove past it on the way to the airport, its not a big show, hardly anybody there "
This is what I’d have expected if I’m honest. The way bikes are now isn’t as exciting or impressive as it all once was. Pretty much all the bikes look the same as the rest within their respective categories and they also are all heavily overpriced. It’s quite sad really |

"If people don’t go then it’s going to cease to exist like anything else right now it needs peoples support "
I agree, about to set off now.
on that,
anyone going to Thunder in the Glen this year, maybe someone should stick up a Thunder in the Glen thread. |

Agree completely. Nothing about new cars or bikes I find that appealing these days. The second market is awash with decent bikes of any sort of style i can't ever see me buying a new one. |

Been a few times and it it a pile of pish.If your looking to see a new bike you are interested in buying go. it is not an event for bikers. The patrons are the Sunday biker types that dont even wave when you pass them. |

That's bollocks. I've been riding 33 years, used to be all year, didn't have a car and nodded at every biker i saw.
I love the back hall and all the bikes from when I was younger, especially the tuned stuff. How do you even come up with a generalisation like that? |
