We do try but the 9 to 5 does sometimes make you wonder... is it just me that feels insane or is that the world around me?

I have two jobs (one full time and one part time) and I definitely feel all I do is work some weeks.

Needs must though.

I (scotsman) used to live to work. Kids changed that round. Then covid complete changed it round.

I caught covid, I told the work, no one called, no one emailed or messaged to ask if I was OK.

I quickly learned that bosses at work don't give a hoot... Therefore, why should I.

I now work to live. Since that conclusion was reached I'm a happier chappy.

Thanks Scotsman. Better to burn out than fade away

Some rest time for me first then some self care, got to be good to thy self.

Never let life get you down. Too many decent people and journeys to choose

I gave up work during lockdown, now a lady of leisure. I loved my job though so now just work when they need extra staff or cover for holidays so it is great finally being able to work round my life rather than my life being dictated by work

In the west.

I'm at the stage where I'm starting to working to live. For far too long all I did was work, to my detriment.
