It might have been good if Celtic Connections had paid a bit more interest in Michael Marra (and Gerry Rafferty) while they were still alive. |

Michael Mara has played every Celtic Connection since it began.Gerry Rafferty lived abroad mostly and was a bit of a recluse.It's the music loving public that should have paid more attention to their music!!! |

I'm not convinced that's entirely accurate. Colin Hynd wasn't a great fan.

Living abroad has never been any sort of bar to getting a gig at CC, indeed, some years it seems almost a pre-requisite. |
