Ayr

Saw them on the original Two Tone Tour with Madness and The Selector way back, in Ayr Piv of all places. Saw them a few times after that too.

Fantastic songs and performers.

my friend told me a while ago that she was always a bit wary of him (for some reason...maybe his devilish eyebrows?.. or his big big FB3 hairdo?) but had a dream in which she met him n he turned out to be " a really really nice bloke"...

R.I.P. Terry Hall

Terry was a one off and oozed coolness.

Ghost Town was a masterpiece. It summed up Thatcher's 1981 Britain... RIP Terry

So sad about Terry. Was my idol as a boy and the specials my fave band ever. Glad I got to see him perform live with the reformed Specials, and got to speak to him on a few occasions over the years . Rest in Peace Terry

A message to you, Rudy - love that song, wasn’t keen on the duet with Sinead O’Connor thought but enjoyed most of his many other tunes.

Spent many a night on the dance floor dancing to his tunes, still do

Totally agree. Someone said something quite interesting the other day. They said if the Specials were to come out in 2033, they'd be dismissed as a bunch of leftie snowflakes
