my friend told me a while ago that she was always a bit wary of him (for some reason...maybe his devilish eyebrows?.. or his big big FB3 hairdo?) but had a dream in which she met him n he turned out to be " a really really nice bloke"...

So sad about Terry. Was my idol as a boy and the specials my fave band ever. Glad I got to see him perform live with the reformed Specials, and got to speak to him on a few occasions over the years . Rest in Peace Terry |

A message to you, Rudy - love that song, wasn’t keen on the duet with Sinead O’Connor thought but enjoyed most of his many other tunes.
Spent many a night on the dance floor dancing to his tunes, still do |

"Ghost Town was a masterpiece. It summed up Thatcher's 1981 Britain... RIP Terry He was a man of the people and never forgot where his roots were. "
Totally agree. Someone said something quite interesting the other day. They said if the Specials were to come out in 2033, they'd be dismissed as a bunch of leftie snowflakes |
